John Murphy, founder of INTERBRAND, who annually evaluates the value of hundreds of brands worldwide, defined brands as the driving force behind the company’s continued value creation. APU PRIME also has a management philosophy that the value of a brand must eventually be proven through profit generation.
Founded by David KIM and Richard RIM in 2016 as part of the APU Global Copyright Project, APU PRIME is a brand-specialized company that conducts licensing and publishing business targeting the Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian markets. APU PRIME owns, manages, and markets a portfolio of consumer brands that span across many tiers of distribution from luxury to mass market.
The main tasks are brand management, artist agency, and brand goods distribution, and we secure global licenses in the fields of fashion, lifestyle, sports, food and beverage, discover competitive local brands, and collaborate between brands.
