John Murphy, founder of INTERBRAND, who annually evaluates the value of hundreds of brands worldwide, defined brands as the driving force behind the company’s continued value creation. APU also has a management philosophy that the value of a brand must eventually be proven through profit generation.

Founded by David and Richard as part of the Global Copyright Project, APU is a brand-specialized company that conducts licensing and publishing business targeting the Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian markets. APU owns, manages, and markets a portfolio of consumer brands that span across many tiers of distribution from luxury to mass market.

The main tasks are brand management, artist agency, and brand goods distribution, and we secure global licenses in the fields of fashion, lifestyle, sports, food and beverage, discover competitive local brands, and collaborate between brands.

Partners David KIM and Richard RIM anchor our APU executive. Together, they provide a combined 50 years of project publishing experience. We are an assembly of highly-skilled professionals that share a vision of efficiency and balance.
